As most of you know, Cy Pace, our longtime bass player, bandleader and one of Savage City's founding residents, is leaving us to pursue other things. In addition to some ongoing musical projects and starting work at a brand new job, Cy is taking time to reconnect with a long lost daughter (an amazing story that has all the makings of a Hallmark Movie of the Week - ask him about it!) That being said, don't be surprised if you see him make a cameo appearance at future gigs.

Most important, we want to take time out to thank him for all the years of hard work, fretting the details, showing up to practice, setting up the stage, herding catlike horn players, creating groovey posters and videos, hunting down obscure charts, greasing the palms of shifty music industry folk, and blatantly refusing to spellcheck. You're a good guy, Cy and we appreciate all the effort. Savage City would not be what it is without you.

So Good Luck, Bon Voyage and Cy-onara. We'll miss you, Big Daddy!
